Custom Dresser Built

This piece was built out of maple and took several coats of paint. It was first painted with white then two coats of black and then finished with clear coats. To get the “worn” look we sanded it down till the white paint was showing through in spots. This was a fun, yet challenging piece to build. (It’s also insanely heavy!)

CUSTOM FURNITURE AND CABINETRY
John, Nate and Ken all share a passion for custom furniture and cabinetry work. While they have been building specific pieces of furniture for years, recently they have made the cross over to doing their own cabinetry work for kitchens. Their expansive knowledge of woods, stains, paints, and lasting durability of them show the beautiful detail and craftsmanship of their work. Past furniture pieces have ranged from bathroom cabinetry, mantels, inset bookshelves, bedroom furniture, tables and coffee tables, to name a few.

LB HISTORY
Lakeland Builders, a family run business, has been building new homes and remodeling in the greater Puget Sound area since 1992. John Breyer, a journeyman carpenter, has over 40 years of building experience in the Puget Sound area. His two sons, Nate and Ken Breyer, each have over 10 years of building experience. Nate and Ken grew up sharing a passion for carpentry like their Dad and Grandfather, and have been "building" things since they were small boys. Lakeland Builders expertise ranges from foundations and framing, to detailed finish work, and building custom cabinetry and furniture. As builders they have been featured in many articles including: Seattle Homes and Lifestyles (2002) and South Sound Magazine (2011).
